At the end it was a good run and we gave it our best shot although we knew it was a long one. Getting almost 620 write-in votes for a campaign that started less than 5 weeks ago, was nothing less than amazing! I’d like to thank my incredible team, the most talented, experienced, dedicated and overall wonderful group of people who embraced this effort and put into it hundreds of hours of work. None of this would’ve been possible without them. We shared a vision for our Village and put together a plan to go forward. We ran a campaign I am most proud of. We didn’t lie about anything, didn’t slander anyone and only used facts to combat false statements. We walked a great deal, spoke with many of our residents, got to know some of them and found out what they wanted for the Village. 
 

Finally, how can I thank the 620 people who went through the trouble to learn my name and then went to the polls and wrote it? How can I thank all those who called or messaged me and asked for a sign, or two or ten? Or those who stopped by the Headquarters to drop a check and pick up a sign and some literature? You all made this campaign hopeful, you made me hopeful and I am eternally grateful to you. Please continue to be engaged, stay informed and hold them accountable. Being your candidate has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I will never forget you. Be well and God bless. -11/9/23
